Best Ink Cosmetics is a private, appointment-only tattoo and permanent makeup studio owned and operated by tattoo artist Sky Rockenbach. Located just outside Austin, Texas, the studio provides a quiet, private setting where every client receives dedicated one-on-one attention throughout their consultation and appointment. Sky specializes in custom tattoo design, large-scale tattoos, coverups, and permanent makeup services including Nano Brows and Powder Brows.

Unlike a traditional walk-in tattoo shop, Best Ink Cosmetics is a single-artist studio with no rotating artists or interruptions. Clients can book directly around Sky’s publicly available schedule and have the entire studio dedicated to their appointment. The space is intentionally kept clean, comfortable, and relaxed, with strict cleaning practices between clients and single-use products used wherever applicable to help prevent cross-contamination.

I made an appointment with Sky to get a tattoo and had an awesome experience from start to finish. She was professional, easy to talk to, and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Most importantly, her work is amazing, super detailed with clean lines and great precision. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Overall, I loved my experience and will definitely be back for another piece. If you’re looking for an artist, I highly recommend giving her a call.

I highly recommend checking out Sky’s work- my experience was wonderful. I came in with uneven, poorly shaped micro bladed brows from a previous procedure. She was so patient, carefully measuring everything, and explained each step so I felt comfortable the whole time. I’m a red head and she nailed my brow color. Thank you Sky, I love my brows!!!

I showed sky a few designs/inspirations of what I was aiming for as this was a memorial tattoo for my beloved childhood pet that had passed away. Sky was beyond sweet, patient, understanding and professional through the beginning to end. She worked her magic and I absolutely love the way it turned it. Stellar experience getting tattooed by Sky last week. She created a custom bird design for me on the spot while I grabbed lunch. I asked for a lot - to match the style of a former tattoo motif I have, to work in a narrow place on my arm, and to create movement. Sky delivered. I love how the design, shading, and placement turned out! Sky has a relaxed demeanor and makes easy conversation, although she seemed just as content to get into the flow of the work and be quiet, too - if that’s your thing. 10/10 recommend

the consultation went smoothly and everything was explained well. i had no idea what to expect since it was my first tattoo but sky made me very comfortable and was very professional but also personal at the same time. i would definitely recommend her to anyone looking around!!

I LOVED working with Sky! I came to her with only a very vague notion of what I wanted and she transformed my idea into something truly artistic and special. She consistently went way way way way above and beyond in thoughtfulness, artistry, kindness, and literally everything else. Sky also made me feel as comfortable as possible and informed during every step of the tattooing process. I get compliments on the sleeve she did for me every single day.
