What is a custom tattoo?

A custom tattoo is a unique, one-of-a-kind design created specifically for you. Unlike traditional tattoos that may rely on pre-existing reference images, a custom tattoo is crafted based on your personal ideas and vision. All you need to provide are the elements you’d like incorporated, the desired size, and the location on your body. This ensures that your tattoo is not only meaningful but also an entirely original piece of art, designed exclusively for you.

Would you take a walk-in?

Yes, we do! For simpler designs such as script or basic pre-drafted images, you can book a 1-hour session. This appointment type is ideal for clients who wish to get a small tattoo and don’t require a consultation for custom design work. It’s a convenient option for those looking for a quick, straightforward tattoo experience without the need for detailed pre-design discussions.

What kind of payment do you except?

At this time, we accept Cash and Venmo. Starting after January 31st, a Credit Card option will be available. Please note that a 3% fee will be added to the total cost to cover credit card processing fees.

How long will my tattoo take?

Tattoo duration depends on the design’s size, detail, and complexity. Here’s a general guide to help you choose the right appointment for your tattoo:

1-Hour Session:
Ideal for small, simple designs (usually palm-sized or smaller) with little to no drawing required. Quick and straightforward.

3-Hour Session:
Perfect for medium designs (about 1-2 palm sizes) with simple to moderate detail. Also a great option for ongoing projects that require multiple sessions. Most clients’ pain tolerance tends to decrease after 2.5 hours.

6-Hour Session:
A full-day booking for larger, more detailed tattoos (think intricate line work, shading, and color). This is also suitable for starting larger-scale projects, giving extra time for proper stencil placement and detailed work.


Important: Session times are reserved specifically for your appointment. If your tattoo is completed earlier, that’s perfectly fine! It’s always better to overestimate the time needed than to risk running out of time.

About the Location

Sky’s studio is located within the Salon Lofts (Suite 160) business building, specifically in Loft 2. Upon entering the front doors, simply head to your left — Sky’s studio will be the second door on the left. This private and intimate space is ideal for an artist who works independently and by appointment only. To maintain a peaceful, focused atmosphere, the studio has a limited capacity, and it is kindly requested that no more than two clients be present at any given time.
