Full Sleeve Tattoos in Austin

Custom Sleeve Tattoos by Sky Rockenbach

Creating a full sleeve tattoo takes patience, vision, and commitment—and it’s one of my specialties. Every sleeve I design is fully custom, tailored to the client’s ideas, style preferences, and story. From bold black and grey to vibrant color, from fine-line detail to large-scale coverups, no two projects are the same.

Some of the work you’ll see here includes coverups, reworks, and fresh concepts, each crafted to fit the client’s body and goals. Whatever your vision, I thrive on the challenge of bringing it to life in a way that flows and feels personal.

I work by appointment only, in a private studio setting that allows for focused, one-on-one collaboration. If you’re ready to start your sleeve—or just want to talk through your ideas—booking a consultation is the first step.

What to Book

For a sleeve, book a consultation.

Ready to Start Your Sleeve?

If you’re interested in starting a sleeve, the first step is to book a consultation. This gives us a chance to talk through your ideas and make sure we’re aligned on the vision. To help guide the conversation and make the most of our time, it’s helpful to come in with a few key details in mind:

  • Style – Do you have a particular tattoo style in mind? (e.g. Japanese, realism, traditional, abstract)

  • Size – Full sleeve, half sleeve, outer arm only, etc.

  • Black and Grey or Color

  • Subject Matter – This can be a theme, a specific object, or background elements.

Here’s how you might describe those:

  • A theme could be something like music, Halloween, underwater, nature, mythology, etc.

  • An object is a focal point—like an octopus, a peony, an instrument, or a skull.

  • Elements are background textures or effects—such as wind, fire, water, smoke, leaves, clouds, etc.

Examples:

“I’m interested in a music-themed sleeve in color. I want it to cover the whole arm and feature three specific instruments. I’d like the design to feel light, abstract, and flowing.”

“I’d like a black and grey nature-themed half sleeve, just on the outer arm. I want two specific types of flowers, with wind and leaves in the background. I’d like it done in a Japanese style.”

The more clearly you can share your ideas, the better I can design something that’s truly custom to you.

About the Location

Sky’s studio is located within the Salon Lofts (Suite 160) business building, specifically in Loft 2. Upon entering the front doors, simply head to your left — Sky’s studio will be the second door on the left. This private and intimate space is ideal for an artist who works independently and by appointment only. To maintain a peaceful, focused atmosphere, the studio has a limited capacity, and it is kindly requested that no more than two clients be present at any given time.
